This unit combines state of the art fault finding with a cable locator proven to be consistent and reliable. The transmitter features simple operation: built in voltage and ohm meters allow the operator to quickly identify and measure the suspected fault. When coupled to the A-frame, the receiver enters the fault finding mode automatically. Colored directional arrows on the LCD give direction to the fault point. The optional Coil ID allows for the identification of energized or de-energized electrical line in transformers, switch boxes, and excavations without shutting down power.
